Closing Accountant

Ambient People is recruiting an interim accountant to support the closure of accounts and audit process for a central London local authority.

The priority for this postholder is to get the local authority organised and ready for audit. That is, reviewing current working papers, producing information packs for auditors, as well as providing additional capacity to pressure areas as audit is progressed. 

Prior experience of facilitating an audit is a public sector setting is essential.
