Head of Finance - Housing

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Head of Finance to lead the finance support and advice to their Housing directorate.  There are significant challenges facing local government housing at this time so the successful candidate will bring their expertise of housing finance including HRA, General Fund and Temporary Accommodation.

Ideally you will be a CCAB/CIMA qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience providing finance business partnering for a local authority. You’ll need to build a rapport quickly across the service and with finance colleagues, so the ability to engage and influence will be key.

This role is offered with a hybrid working pattern.
