An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Interim Strategic Finance Business Partner to join a leading council in the Midlands. This role involves managing a team of Finance Business Partners and providing strategic financial leadership across Corporate Services, including HR, IT, Legal, and Governance. 

Key responsibilities include overseeing budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting, offering strategic advice to senior leadership, and ensuring value for money. The role also involves supporting long-term financial planning, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Essential criteria include significant experience in finance business partnering and a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
